I was supposed to draw Chibiusa in her civil form, in a Japanese setting and she should look as if she would long for something or someone.
I decided to put the scene in the rain season of Japan, because it was still June when I started to draw this. Children often hate on the rain season, because it's impossible to play outside and outdoor activities are not the best thing to do. They then make these small smiling puppets (Teruteru Bouzu) and hang them in the window so they invite the sun to come out. In Chibiusa's case the Teruteru Bouzu are Tuxedo Mask and Helios. I thought it was kind of cute.
